In The Name Of Love&#8221;, &#8220;Baby, I Need Your Loving&#8221;, &#8220;Reach Out, I&#8217;ll Be There&#8221;, &#8220;Heatwave&#8221;, &#8220;Come And Get These Memories&#8221;, &#8220;Can I Get A Witness&#8221;, &#8220;This Old Heart Of Mine&#8221;, &#8220;Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me A Little While)&#8221;, &#8220;(I&#8217;m A) Road Runner&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>There, \u00a0I just did a Keener Top Ten\u00a0without breaking a sweat! <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_songs_written_by_Holland,_Dozier_and_Holland\">Or going past 1966<\/a><\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rockhall.com\/inductees\/holland-dozier-and-holland\/bio\/\"><strong>Brian, Lamont and Eddie<\/strong><\/a> were Motown&#8217;s greatest songwriting team. Except, of course, for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/keener13.org\/?p=2301\">Smokey Robinson<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Norman_Whitfield\">Norman Whitfiel<\/a><\/strong>d and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Barrett_Strong\">Barrett Strong<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Corporation_(record_production_team)\">The Corporation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/rockhall.com\/inductees\/marvin-gaye\/\">Marvin Gaye<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/keener13.org\/?p=2202\">Stevie Wonder<\/a><\/strong> and others<strong>.<\/strong>\u00a0Hard to say who&#8217;s the greatest. It&#8217;s like all these years later, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Berry_Gordy\">Berry Gordy&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.americansongwriter.com\/2015\/10\/no-science-behind-it-a-qa-with-motown-songwriting-legend-lamont-dozier\/\">who&#8217;s hot?<\/a><\/strong>&#8221;\u00a0competitions still play out.<\/p>\n<p>Today is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eddie_Holland\">Eddie Holland&#8217;s<\/a><\/strong> birthday, which was gonna make\u00a0an obvious, but difficult choice for the\u00a0Friday Song. Until I discovered that\u00a0one of\u00a0H-D-H&#8217;s first hits was written for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/rockhall.com\/inductees\/the-miracles\/\">Smokey Robinson and the Miracles<\/a><\/strong>! Top Ten in 1963, it&#8217;s &#8220;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mickey%27s_Monkey_(song)\">Mickey&#8217;s Monkey<\/a><\/strong>&#8221;\u00a0LIVE,\u00a0on a Motown Revue special for\u00a0Britain&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ready_Steady_Go!\">Ready, Steady Go<\/a><\/strong>.
