During the week of January 15, 3300 copies of our News Album were mailed to people in all walks of life - political, educational, business, etc. Letters of appreciation were received from many of them. In addition, letters were sent to principals of high schools advising that additional copies would be made available to them free of charge if they would like them. To date we have received requests from 27 schools and have distributed over 175 albums.

We welcome two new DJ's to the station - Dan Henderson, who was formerly associated with WAIR in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, will be on FM, and Gary Mitchell, very recently of CKLW, will be in the afternoon drive slot.

Visitors to the station this past week: Wednesday, March 6, 14 young people from Junior Christian Youth Fellowship of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Allen Park.

Last Sunday, March 10, Paul Cannon made a personal appearance at the First Methodist Church of Dearborn at the request of the associate pastor. His talk was to a youth group discussing the "anatomy of a record," censorship of records, how they are picked out and how they become hits.

If strikes and weather don't interfere, two KeeNeRites will be leaving these blustery parts. Mrs. Knorr hopes to leave Thursday for a brief vacation with her brother in Tucson, Arizona, and Mary Keem is spending a long weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. She claims it is not a recording session!

PROJECT DETROIT subject for Sunday, March 17, 1968 is "UFO's Revisited" featuring Stanton Friedman, a scientist who believes in extraterrestrial beings. (Inasmuch as this man believes in the little green people - this appears to be an appropriate subject for St. Patrick's Day!)
