KeeNeR's Christmas Party is now past and from all reports it was another
successful one. Glad you could join us.
Our condolences to Don Wagner, whose mother passed away last Wednesday.
Our Christmas Shopping Contest winner was advised of her winnings Tuesday
afternoon on the Sean Conrad Show. Her name is Lisa Bodnovits of Garden
City.
The Dearborn Pioneers met Wednesday, December 4 for the purpose of inspiring
all members of the group to really get out and sell papers to aid the
Goodfellows in their annual drive for funds to help needy Dearborn children.
Mr. Patterson was the guest speaker at this kick-off luncheon and from all
reports did a super job.
Carole Wiedeman makes the paper again this week and we're happy to report
it's not to advise of a heart attack she almost sustained as the result of
being called into Mr. Patterson's office last Thursday. It was just another
one of our ways of getting the right person in the right place at the right
time to spring "Happy Birthday" greetings on her.
We're sorry to report that we are losing Steve Allevato in January. He has
enlisted in the Air National Guard and leaves for Lackland Air Force Base on
January 12.
Don't forget the OJ - Harlem Globetrotters benefit basketball game at
Olympia on December 28 to raise funds for muscular dystrophy.
PROJECT DETROIT Subject for Sunday, December 22, 1968 is the Annual
Christmas Concert of the General Motors Chorus. |
