In the continuing story of Barbara Collins, we once again report that she is leaving to join her husband. He is really staying in the United States, assigned to the duties of a military policeman. as of this writing: Her last day is now scheduled for May 2. Her replacement will be Mary Allan. Mary's husband was a former KeeNeRite, John Allan.

Visitors to the station included 20 girl scouts from the Dearborn area on Tuesday, April l5! and 24 junior girl scouts, Troop #174, of West Dearborn on Wednesday, April 16.

The friendly hand of KeeNeR welcome is hereby extended to our new salesman Don O'Connor, who started with us Tuesday.

Eleanore Krupp returned last week after spending a two-week vacation in Winnipeg visiting her mother and father.

Our Who Sang That contest was brought to a successful conclusion when a 1969 Camaro was awarded to one of the contestants, Cheryl Hopkins of Taylor, on April 18.

Jerry Martin, in his continuing activities with boys and young men, has signed up to assist in the new Contemporary Exploring Program to be put into effect next fall. He will be part of the Program and Services Committee for the Down River District Explorers.

Mr. Patterson still has a few tickets left to sell as his effort in behalf of the Dearborn Rotary Club's Antiques Show and Sale being held May 9, 10 and 11 at the Dearborn Youth Center. He'd like you to rush right in and take them off his hands - only $1.50 donation - for a good cause and you might even win a color TV.

Tomorrow is Traffic Kathy's birthday. She says she'll take all money contributions to add to the bankroll she's trying to build before getting married. but she might accept a simple handshake and a "Happy Birthday."

On Saturday, May 10th, WKNR will present the Janis Joplin Show with Country Joe and The Fish, and Teegarden and Van Winkle, at Cobo Hall. Starting Monday night, we started giving away a pair of tickets to the show and a Janis Joplin album on Gary Granger's Show.

Frank Maruca's son John has been taking trombone lessons in school and Tuesday evening he played in an all-city music festival in Harper Woods. Watching the performance would probably be as interesting as listening to it - have you ever seen the size of John - in comparison with a trombone?
