At a meeting of the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Southeastern Michigan on Tuesday, June 17, Paul Cannon was reelected to the office of Vice President.

Newsman Al Morgan and his wife Maureen celebrated their first wedding anniversary Sunday. Congratulations!

Eleanor Krupp leaves tomorrow for New York to see the ceremonies selecting the National Ad Woman of the year. She may also Use the time to celebrate her birthday which occurred last Saturday.

A visitor to the station Friday, June 20 was former KeeNeR newsman John Meagher.

Jerry Martin and family had an enjoyable but chilly vacation last week, spending their time camping in the Traverse City area. Six lake trout were caught in Grand Traverse Bay weighing a total of 15 pounds. And, wouldn't you know it. Jerry, Jr. caught the first one:

Dick Buller's son Rick is spending his vacation this summer working at Greenfield Village. Dick says the work is "on the grounds." We're not sure if that means he's a guide or is cutting the grass.

Mark Allen has vacation plans which are presently in the talking stage. He hopes to spend approximately 10 days in the Caribbean starting July 5.

Debbie Reakes' plans have now been completed and she leaves July 9 for her six-week vacation/study trip to Germany and Austria.

A new contest started this morning at 6:00 o'clock called "Goldies Galore." Contestants have to identify the artist of a particular record. If the answer is correct, they receive three Capitol albums and a further chance to win a Beach Radio if they also know the year the record was a hit.

Listeners to our FM who send in a postcard entry may win copies of the soundtrack albums from the motion picture "MacKenna's Gold." 25 of these albums and 25 pairs of passes to the movie will be awarded to the winners of the contest which closes June 27.

Frank Maruca attended a luncheon today at the Detroit Institute of Arts, representing our FM station. The Institute of Arts was requesting the exclusive help of the FM stations in the area to support subscriptions for their program of six concerts this summer.
