The Keener Almanac

(1967) WKNR's Oldies But Goodies album is released. It's 30,000 unit run is a complete sellout.
(1920) WEAF, New York, airs the first broadcast of a prize fight from ringside. Two years later they become the first to broadcast a double wedding ceremony from Grand Central Station. 4,000 spectators watch the event.
(1968) WKNR News reports the wedding of Julie Nixon, daughter of the President-elect, to David Eisenhower, grandson of the former president.
