The Doobie Brothers are working on their first new album featuring the band’s core lineup, including Michael McDonald, in almost 50 years. Co-founders Patrick Simmons and Tom Johnston revealed the project to Billboard, noting it would be the first collaboration with McDonald since 1975’s “Takin’ It to the Streets”.
